Guoyue Hydraulics 5TG Series 5-Stage Double-Acting Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinder for Lift Truck — 129mm Outer Bore, Ball Joint Rod End, Up to 1480mm Stroke Per Stage

5-stage double-acting telescopic, lifts from both directions — pressure up, gravity or pressure down. Five nested stages, outer bore starts at 129mm, each stage steps down by roughly 10-12mm as you go in. Stroke per stage is 1480mm, so fully extended you're looking at 7400mm total out of a retracted length around 1900mm. That's nearly 4× extension ratio.

Tubes are 27SiMn seamless honed for the outer stages, 20# seamless for the inner ones. All stages roller-burnished inside. Stop rings are 42CrMo, quenched to HRC 46-50, and we grind the shoulder face flat so the rings don't mushroom after a few thousand cycles.

Rods in CK45 or 40Cr, induction hardened, then hard chrome plated 20-30 micron thick. HV hardness lands around 800-900. Chromed surface holds up fine against the wiper seals, no peeling issues we've seen in the field.

Sealing setup on each stage: PU U-cup with NBR O-ring behind it for backup compression, PTFE-bronze guide rings top and bottom to keep the rod centered, plus a double-lip wiper at the entry to keep dust out. Two G3/8 ports per cylinder — top and bottom — both come with yellow plastic caps. The caps stay on during shipping, you take them off at install.

Rod end has a spherical ball joint, self-aligning type, so the cylinder forgives a little misalignment when you're mounting it. Base end is a threaded cap design, straightforward to disassemble for seal replacement.

Test routine: each stage gets 21MPa hydrostatic for 5 minutes individually, then we run the full stack at 0.5MPa to check the stage extension order is correct. After that, 50 full cycles at 18MPa working pressure with visual leak check.

We run these on scissor lift trucks mostly, also aerial work platforms, hydraulic lift tables, and some forklift mast applications. Same mounting pattern as standard 5TG series — if you're swapping out an old unit, bolt centers and ball joint dimensions should drop right in.
