The Q47 Series Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve is a high-performance, industrial-grade valve designed for long-distance pipelines and high-pressure service. Unlike floating ball valves, the ball in this series is fixed by trunnions (bearings) at the top and bottom. This design ensures that the pressure of the medium is supported by the bearings rather than the valve seats, resulting in significantly lower operating torque and superior sealing reliability.
It is specifically engineered for large-diameter and high-pressure applications in oil, gas, and chemical transmission systems.
- Trunnion Mounted Design: Fixed ball construction reduces friction and operating torque, extending the life of the sealing seats.
- Double Block and Bleed (DBB): Provides simultaneous upstream and downstream sealing, allowing the body cavity to be vented or drained safely while the valve is in the closed position.
- Automatic Pressure Relief: The floating seats automatically release excess pressure in the body cavity to the downstream side, preventing dangerous pressure buildup.
