Boom Forklift Hydraulic Cylinder / Hydraulic Piston Cylinder For Cranes
Typical knuckle boom crane is operated with four cylinders in total: two knuckle boom cylinders and two main boom cylinders.With this solution of knuckle boom cranes the risk of swinging loads especially under rough weather conditions will become minimized. The lifted loads are under permanent hydraulic control. Special load control valves directly mounted on the cylinders guarantee that there are no uncontrolled movements of main boom or knuckle boom arms.
The use of a hydraulic cylinder pivotally connected at one end to the upper works of a lift crane and at the other end to the mast, and used to control the boom angle, is a significant advantage over other commercial cranes in use today. Further, to be able to use a double-acting cylinder for the boom hoist function, and to be able to use a closed loop pump to power the cylinder, is a further unique feature of the crane.Different boom positions make this a flexible and compact solution to work with. Simple design simplifies the maintenance.
